Why Bergen County Veterinary Center Stands Apart from the Rest

When looking for a veterinary center for your pet, you want to ensure that you get the best. Good vet centers consider both the pet and the pet parent as clients and cater to both. They understand that the relationship between the two is essential to the pet's health.

Additionally, it is about more than just good customer care but also the quality of service. You do not want your pet to fear visiting the vet because regular vet checkups are part of the life of a healthy pet.

Fear-free

We care for both clients and patients, not just the patients. Everyone becomes part of our BCVC family when they visit with us. At our practice, we are keen on ensuring that you, as a pet parent, are well taken care of, especially in challenging situations. When your pet is in distress, you are also likely going through significant stress and worry.

Our team is always ready to serve you, especially with the recent improvements we have made to our software. We take the time to hear you out so we can provide the best possible response for your and your pet's well-being.

We Accept Emergencies During Open Operating Hours

We always try to get people in if it is an emergency and will only refer them to an emergency hospital if we must. We only refer you to another hospital to ensure we are not jeopardizing the quality and standard of care to get more patients in.

Emergency care is critical as it can be the line between saving your pet's life and losing them for good. We take this very seriously and always have our team ready to direct you on how to proceed to ensure your pet is safe.

Care at the Hospital

Sometimes, our patients may have to spend the night for a few days for observation. Our hospitalized patients always get a warm blanket to snuggle on. Also, if it is permitted by the doctor's instructions, they get water and food.

Sip While You Wait

Sometimes, you may have to leave your pet as they go to the treatment area with the vet; for instance, during surgery. Our team will usually talk you through what is happening to calm your nerves. While you wait, we have a coffee and snack stand and other fun stuff to get your mind off the complexities of the procedures. It is an excellent way to keep calm while waiting for the vet to care for your pet.

Extras

We give out puppy and kitten packs, including toys, preventative medication samples, a lot of educational information, and some BCVC swag. This is a package that we have especially prepared for our clients to show that we really do care. We want you to be able to take care of that fur bundle of joy in the best possible way so they can stay healthy for longer.

We all absolutely love our jobs which in turn reflects on the way we care for both our clients and patients.
